About Us
MPD Engineering Ltd is a family owned and run business, both manufacturing and refurbishing to support our customers across varying sectors of industry. Established in 1999, after some 25 years toolmaking within the Gear & Spline, Punch & Dies manufacturing industry. We are a diverse company specialising in project, one offs and small batch work.
We endeavour to supply a one stop service and our skills cover the following:
Blasting - Grit & Glass bead.
Broaching - Facilities & new make broaches.
Brush Plating - Specialist (Nickel Cobalt, Copper), Diameter build up. Not cosmetic.
EDM - Broken tap removal.
Fabrication - Small , guillotine, folding facilities, laser cutting.
Grinding - Internal , External, Surface, Splines, Ceramic, Gears & Sprockets.
Hydraulic Press
Inspection: Hand held to CNC Mitutoyo co-ordinate measuring machine. Certificates. Hardness Testing.
Keyway cutting - Internal & external.
Milling - Manual & CNC.
Turning - Manual & CNC.
Welding - MIG, TIG, Gas & Arc
